Brief Overview
Network Events runs regional health and wellness expos for NBC affiliates around the United States.
Network Events needed a better way to manage the coordination, design, and production of a program guide sold to a variety of regional tradeshow participants across the United States.
Rex created a way for Network Events to seamlessly coordinate the planning, content management, ad design and placement, print, and distribution from one centralized location.
- Rex created a template and ad spec sheet to help coordinate the submittals of national ads from various advertising agencies, independent accounts, and regional NBC television stations.
- Rex made sure all ads were received at least four weeks prior to production.
- Ads were checked to verify that all required specifications (size, content, color) were met and corrected, if necessary.
- If regional NBC stations required design services, Rex worked directly with the stations to create regionally specific ads for the expo program guide.
- NBC sent all content including editorials, demonstrations, expo floor plans, and exhibitor lists to Rex directly.
- Rex arranged pagination and strategic placement of the ads once the elements were gathered.
- Printing and distribution was handled at Rex
By working with Rex, Network Events was able to better service their NBC partners, strengthening their ability to coordinate outstanding events. Rex delivered each program guide on time, every time allowing Network Events to focus on increasing their base of event participants. Having all aspects of the project such as design, ad management, print and mailing, kept communications organized and streamlined minimizing the number of production errors.
