However, our team will develop a production timeline with you to ensure we meet your standards and time requirements. A typical project requires 24 hours for a color proof, and 36 to 72 hours for final delivery. |

Answer: If you can provide us with a correctly made PDF file, our prepress department can RIP it directly, skipping the conversion process. This workflow allows us to pass that cost savings on to you.
If you want to know more about how to create a PDF file for your project, you may visit our Visitor’s Lounge on the web to read our preflight tips. Please keep in mind that Rex will provide free support for customers who have questions or require training.
We still receive and will gladly process your native application files. Our operators are familiar with all standard design software. Our prepress workflow requires that these files be converted to PDF for processing. After preflighting your application file, we convert to PDF. |

Answer:
Using a PDF (electronic) proof is the most economical way to check proofs before going on press. These proofs will not accurately show the color that you will get off press, but not all projects are color-critical. If you are on a budget and all you need is pleasing color, talk to your sales rep and determine if a PDF proof can be used for your project.
If you are looking for a more exact proof, it is recommended you use an Epson inkjet proof.
Rex is certified as a Master Printer by Idealliance G7 Program and our proofing equipment is calibrated to give very close matches to the printing press when printing on neutral coated paper. Special stocks and coatings can create a situation where color matching is more difficult. If you have a high profile color critical project, discuss this with your sales rep so that our team can review the project and ensure your satisfaction.
For those customers that want to a dot on their proof we provide a Fuji proof. It is also calibrated to Gracol standards and has the extra benefit of simulating spot colors for more accuracy. |

Answer: Every account is assigned an account executive, which will routinely meet with you to ensure we consistently deliver the service levels you deserve. It is the account executive’s responsibility for knowing your business communication needs to deliver the appropriate solutions. Once your project is ready to be estimated, the account executive will work with our estimating team to ensure that the supplies and manufacturing processes are in place to deliver your project the most efficient way possible.
Once you approve the estimate, your account will also be assigned to a production coordinator (also known as CSR or customer service representative). This person will be your “go-to” person about the progress of your project as it passes through the plant. Our production coordinators keep you updated with the daily progress of your project to minimize risk, ensure timely delivery, and avoid any potential implications. |

Answer:
In order for Rex to determine if our technologies will address your business pains, it is important that we meet with you and/or your executive team to understand your company’s current print requirements and overall challenges. We consider this to be a valuable brainstorming session, as it may result in significant cost savings or a more efficient solution to your existing print operations for your department or other areas of the business.
We encourage you to speak with either Howard Shusterman or Vincent Sita to identify a time to determine if Rex could highlight critical areas of business improvement opportunities. |
|
Answer:
Rex makes it simple for customers to access previously printed materials. Our FTP upload site allows all customers to access completed and pending projects easily.
To learn more about managing all of your company’s wide range of files, previous marketing designs, and regional and national corporate communication programs, ask an account executive about Rex Three’s asset management services. |

Answer:
While we would like to offer a variety of flexible payment options to first time clients, payable terms of 30 days or greater only apply to loyal customers with an excellent payment history.
If you are a new customer, we will require a 50% up-front deposit with the balance due upon delivery (COD). Thereon after, if your credit application shows an impeccable credit history, it is possible that we extend additional payment terms to you.
We recommend that you submit a credit application ahead of time through your account executive to determine which option is better for you. |
|
Answer:
Absolutely! If your company has specific reporting requirements or procedures, we encourage you to speak with your account executive about how our accounts receivables team could help track your marketing or print production expenses.
We also recommend to speak with one of our technology consultants to learn more about obtaining a cost-effective, web-based solution that can help your marketing and accounting team manage invoices and marketing projects using a username and password. We’ve been able to save many companies money by lowering processing time, the number of accounting errors, and by giving companies the ability to reprint collateral on demand via the web. |

Answer: We advise all of our clients that files can be typically shipped within five days from the date proofs are approved to go on press. To avoid delays, we ask that clients address prepress issues or last minute changes quickly in order for plates to be made in time to meet conservative deadlines.
Customers who experience stressful time constraints find that working closely with the production coordinator gives them the ability to respond quickly to last minute surprises that may prevent a timely delivery. |
|
Answer: You have various methods of completing a press check or a “press OK”. The best way is to use our online monitor proofing system known as Rex Remote to review your work before print production. This free service gives you the ability to:
• Track changes or modifications made by you, your team, or even other departments
• Address color inaccuracies (CMYK or PMS colors) that may affect your brand image
• Identify issues with fonts, layouts, copy, trapping, layers, or bleeds that result in low quality imaging
• Make comments for you or other departments
Other options:
• Have a PDF link sent to you via email, giving you immediate online access to your working file without having to store a large document in your email inbox.
• Request to have a CD sent to you overnight, express, etc.
• If you’re local (in the South Florida tri-county area), request a hard copy delivered to your office using our courier services.
• Schedule time with your production coordinator to visit the plant and conduct a press check onsite (not necessary).

Answer: Rex has a fleet of vans and trucks for local deliveries. UPS and Fedex make regular pickups from our facility and we partner with various logistics companies for LTL shipments.

Answer: Your estimated price is not always your final price. There are instances when our preflight operators find changes need to be made to your file/ or designs to meet the standards of our equipment. Any changes made in this phase may require additional charges in order to deliver the highest quality you deserve. To minimize additional charges, you are encouraged to send test files to Rex before the start of the job so that we can give you a complimentary review. At this time, we will pass along some friendly advice for quick turnaround.
If you do not wish to have our prepress department make the necessary changes, you may request your production coordinator to have the files emailed to you for review. This will help you avoid any additional charges from being applied to your account.
Other charges not appearing in your estimate may include:
• Shipping/ freight
• Postage
• Restocking fees
